The interactive bell table has 11
sensors that analyse the touching of the bells. For each bell there
is an individually designed video and audio file that is played as
soon as the bell is touched. The videos are shown on the integrated
display while the audio files are run via the handsets. During a
guided tour through the museum it is possible to activate the playback
of the audio files on external speakers via a key switch.

The sensor field of the Mirrormaid
sensor is situated beneath the glued on bells and behind a glass pane.
The sensor field is extended through the glass on the bell (capacitive interface).
Hence, the bells are made contact active without having to drilling the glass.
The Mirrormaid sensors analyse the touch of bells. Next,
the sensors switch the inputs of the Flashplayer that again launches
the playback of the multimedia files. The17" TFT display and the handset
run the playback of the multimedia files. The HiFi amplifier can
additionally be switched via a key switch.
