The Emigration Museum BallinStadt operates animated 9 dolls featuring electronic systems made by heddier. These animated dolls autonomously make contact with the visitors by telling them, just like contemporary witnesses, the reasons and intentions for their emigration in the early 20th century. Each visitor is guaranteed to make a special and extraordinary experience.

Technical Description:

The animated dolls are equipped with sensors and a playback device. The sensors activate the playback of an audio file, the animated doll talks.
Of course, it is possible to freely select one's own choice of text or music. The chosen text or music may be changed at all times. It is also possible to incorporate additional features so as to facilitate a completely interactive conversation between two or more animated dolls.
