The MIRRORMAID kit features all components you will need to create your own touch-sensitive sensor situated in a compact plastic case. Electricity is conveyed by a regular 230 Volt 50 Hz AC hook-up. The sensory surface is simply attached by soldering. If you wish to operate the sensors separately from the case it is possible to extract it from the case and operate it via a sensor cable up a distance of 30 meters.
It makes sense to apply the MIRRORMAID kit whenever the application only requires the implementation of only a few capacitive sensors and if you do not hook-up subsequently switched devices such as PCs and Flashplayers.
Hook-up MIRRORMAID Kit
Power (power supply) 230 Volt AC 50 Hz PE = grounding conductor (green/yellow) N = neutral conductor (neutral wire, blue) L1 = external conductor (phase, black)
Relay switching output (change-over contact) NC = opening contact (normally closed) B = switch contact (base) NO = closing contact (normally opened)
Backup Miniature backup 4,0 A MT for switching output
SNS - hook-up of the sensor If possible, the sensor surface is hooked up via a short connecting cable (< 20cm). The connecting cable is also active for approximation.
EXT-Interface The EXT-Interface connects the components via a connecting cable if the mains adapter and the sensor electronic are disconnected. The connecting cable is not included in the delivery. It is, however, available on demand in different lengths.

If desired, it is of course also possible to order material needed for constructing the sensors such as self-adhesive copper foliage and sensor wire. Our engineers and technicians are more than happy to inform and assist you in implementing your projects.
